Shutter Love Tuesday 'laughter' / Work & play

I was fortunate enough to do a 'shoot' for my friend recently. Her son had just turned 6. She wanted some new photos and you should all know by now that I never give up a chance to use my camera. He was not over the moon excited about the shoot so someone may have tickled him just a tiny bit. I had a great time and was able to get great shots.

In honor of The Trendy Treehouse here is a great one of him giggling.

The Trendy Treehouse

I was just thinking....I worked very hard to get him to smile and in return we all laughed our booties off so Im adding this photo in the In a Yellow House challenge as well. Head on over to Ramblings and Things to see more....

Mellow yellow Monday it is!

I ran across this blog last night and knew I had the prefect shot of Maddy. She and Kennedy were being my little climbers again. This time they pushed our foot rests over to their mini toy box, climbed in the toy box and up onto the foot rests. Stinkers.

"Don't even THINK about trying to get me down"

Few extras:

Then of course she had to encourage K to get up as well....

YAY we got up!!!

of course when K did get up Maddy tried to knock her down like any good sister would.

And because I love a good close up

Best picture I have gotten of them together in....well, forever.

Rachel on her big girl 'bike'

DH was wanted to try this attached bike for months now and I thought for sure she was too young, would let go while he was peddling and fall off. Much to my surprise, and DHs enjoyment, I was wrong. She loved it!

She did it all for the kitty....

We were all having playtime in the girls playroom the other day and I took a few photos. Not the best technically but I love them........

Bug was up on the toy microwave

And then Rachel joined her

Rachel dressing up. Who doesn't wear goggles and a tutu in the summer?

Then out of nowhere Maddy attacked Rob. I have proof!

Rachel was 'hiding' but I got her with some tickles.

Maddy looking cute in the cowboy hat Daddy brought back form his last trip. Then of course K is sneaking in to take it!

Maddy getting some Daddy love.

She did it all for the kitty. Rotten!

Then to keep the bad choices rolling I caught her pulling stuff out of my diaper bag!

In a Yellow House Photo Challenge: Arts -n- Crafts

I saw Ashley, over at Ramblings and Photos, had a new post with some beautiful photos using oil pastels, a medium I love, then I saw it was for a arts and craft challenge.

I hoping I would have time to do a drawing for the contest but Rachel, my 4 year old, saw the photos and asked what they were. She said SHE had just the craft. She ran upstairs and got her raccoon. This is a craft we did over a month ago. It has brought loads of entertainment over the past few weeks. Every time she shows it to Rob he screams and shouts "No, raccoons in the house!" "how many times have I told you we don't keep raccoons in the house" and of course she falls into fits of giggles screaming in return "its just a craft!". So, here is Rachel's craft. :)

I Heart Faces - Got to Wear Shades

Rachel LOVES sunglasses so finding a shade picture was not a problem at all. I went with a oldie but goodie. This shot is from the first month I got my DSLR and its still one of my favorites! I sat her down, gave her the shades and she started making faces. I love the entire set.

HOW could I forget Rachel's birthday!?!?!?

Well, forget to post pictures anywho. Geesh....pretty soon people are going to start thinking I only have 2 children. Rachel turned the big 04 last week. After some presents she wanted to go to Logans Steakhouse, or as she calls it "the peanut place" and then we went to Dave and Busters for some gaming fun after. She did get....2500 tickets later she got a Sleeping Beauty nightlight and a kazoo.
